Home treatment for
Acne
In your constant pursuit in finding the cure to rid yourself of the
unwanted zit, you may have stumbled upon various concoctions of home
treatment acne or
herbal remedies and other natural medications
involving roots, leaves, rinds, and bulbs that need to be plastered or
rubbed all over the affected area. However, one must realize that no
person is alike. This same principle applies with acne remedies. What
worked for your neighbor may bring you utter failure. A few may
respond well to certain pharmaceutical products, but these
commercially prepared items may trigger allergies for some. That is
why it is better to turn to natural products for the coveted cure.
The natural treatment for acne has been around since man began
focusing much energy on his appearance. From avocados to orange rinds,
and garlic cloves; these are a few of the au naturel approach intended
to remove the unsightly bump. It should be noted that there is no
overnight cure for acne. There is simply no guarantee. And like others
before you, you probably have to try it to see if it will work. But
before enumerating the more popular home-concocted treatments, good
diet and sufficient sleep are imperative. Water intake is important as
well. And let us not forget the value of a multi-vitamin. This is how
you solve the problem from within. But for now, here are some of the
home remedies that worked well for a number of individuals.
Avocado Mask: This requires one to combine mashed avocados with water.
Bear in mind that the liquid should be added gradually until it forms
a paste-like consistency. Apply evenly over the face. Leave it for a
couple of minutes then rinse it off. This is a good facial mask
because Avocado oil has the capacity to penetrate deep into the skin
carrying vitamins that can prevent acne from further developing.
Oatmeal Mask: Wash your face with warm water then pat dry. Start with
a couple tablespoons of finely milled oatmeal. Gradually add warm
water until desired texture is reached. Gingerly spread the oatmeal
paste into the skin. Leave it for several minutes to allow it to dry.
After that, you may rinse it off with cold water. This process allows
your pores to open (because of the warm water) and close (because of
the cold water), ergo, cleansing and protecting the skin against dirt.
This oatmeal mask has a few variations. There is oatmeal and honey
then there is the oatmeal and yogurt. It is basically the same
procedure. Just take out the water and replace it with either honey or
yogurt.
Garlic: This is rather straightforward. You can crush the garlic then
apply it in your face or cut the garlic in half, exposing the flesh,
then rub it in. If you cannot stand the pungent smell of garlic, you
may opt to chew and swallow a couple cloves a day. In here, garlic is
no longer a mere flavoring agent; it is also a pimple home treatment
acne removal and zit blaster. Who says attaining clear skin was easy?
Orange Paste: With the rinds and a few teaspoons of water, make a
paste. Apply it over the skin and leave the same for approximately ten
minutes. Rinse afterwards.
Toothpaste: Teenagers are very resourceful, aren’t they? This is one
more popular home treatment for acne among the teens. Before going to
bed, squeeze a small amount of toothpaste (not gel) atop of the zit.
The usual outcome is a reduction in the acne swelling.
Vinegar and Salt: This is not intended to be an additional dip for the
Friday night game. Mix the vinegar with a pinch of salt. Rub the
solution into the acne area. Leave for a few minutes then wash it off
with water.
These are a few of the kitchen-concocted remedies; the Internet will
surely present you with more. If you think that you cannot do one of
the suggested regimens (i.e. garlic) then skip it. The list is long
and the World Wide Web is vast. Do not forget that you have a lot of
options; one of them is bound to work. |
